Recently, I found myself at a crossroads. At the time, I was working as an in-house graphic designer for a high-end fashion retailer. But I was tired and burnt out -- there was no joy in what I was creating -- and more importantly, I wasn't inspired to be creative (not good when it's your full time job, right?).
After endless discussions with family and close friends, I decided to step away from the corporate world for a while and focus instead on what makes me happy creatively as a designer. And that is working with my hands on a daily basis -- sitting amongst piles of fabric, sketching out quilt patterns, cutting, sewing, and quilting.
